Join PCC at Vegfest 2008

PCC is once again proud to sponsor and participate in Vegfest, presented by Vegetarians of Washington. This year’s festival provides attendees with endless opportunities to learn about vegetarian food choices, from what to eat, what to buy and how to cook it.

Vegfest is the biggest vegetarian food festival in the United States, with over 600 different kinds of food to try including some tasty delights from PCC’s Deli. Kid Picks will also be on site taste testing some great vegetarian products from our store shelves.

Gourmet cooking demonstrations from some of the country’s leading chefs will be held throughout the festival, including a demo from PCC Cooks instructor Louise Hagler, author of many cookbooks including "Soyfoods Cookery," and "Tofu, Quick and Easy."

In addition, guests can learn about the health and nutrition benefits of a vegetarian diet from some terrific guest speakers including Tim Riesenberger M.D., Michael Orlich M.D., and Keith Hanson M.D., a naturopathic doctor, Chris Kozura, N.D. and a dietitian to the stars in Hollywood, Marilyn Joyce R.D., PhD.

Admission to this event is $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and younger. Tickets are available at the door.
