Our Farmers

www.nashsproduce.com — Nash Huber and Patty McManus own Nash's Produce, also known as Nash's Organic Produce. Huber was a key element in the creation of the PCC Farmland Trust in 1999. He approached PCC with an urgent request for help in saving a local farm from becoming a housing development. That farm was the Delta Farm, which Nash now leases.

www.thunderinghooves.net — The Huesby family, doing business as Thundering Hooves, raise pastured livestock and poultry in an open, natural and low-stress environment with no growth hormones or antibiotics. They lease The Bennington Place.

www.fullcirclefarm.com — Andrew Stout and Wendy Munroe own and operate Full Circle Farm in Carnation. In 2006, the PCC Farmland Trust purchased an organic agricultural conservation easement on 127 acres of the Ames Creek Farm, enabling Stout to purchase that part of the farm directly. Full Circle Farm grows a wide variety of fruits and vegetables sold at PCC, restaurants, farmers' markets, and through its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

www.growingthingsfarm.com — Michaele Blakely leases 31 acres of the Ames Creek Farm in Carnation, where she tends a diverse blend of organically grown vegetables, poultry and livestock. Blakely has had a longtime presence at Seattle farmers' markets where people line up to buy her organic eggs, produce, meat and jams. She also has a successful CSA program.
