Product recall: Fresh sprouts, September 5, 2008. PCC Natural Markets has removed from sale three sprout varieties due to an outbreak of Salmonella associated with them: Alfalfa, Salad and Onion Sprouts. These sprouts are sold under the Sprouters Northwest, Inc. label. All other varieties of sprouts (Bean, Broccoli, Green Peas, Cow Peas, Red Lentils, Garbanzo Beans, Clover and Radish) are not included in this recall. Read entire PCC recall notice ...
